Do you think this recent trend of hesitation towards social networks is a sign that they wont stay/grow as strong as they are now, or just that they grew faster than people have been able to adapt to them? Do people just need to adjust to it the way we needed to adjust to email 10-15 years ago (many still struggle with the overwhelming amount of email everyday, hence things like inbox:zero)

iButterfly (by DentsuAsia) Just like any technology, Augmented reality started as a gimmick. A tech demo.  But now some really creative uses are starting to appear. Ones that appeal to ‘normals’ not just geeks or marketers. You can tell this is a good idea based on how into it that 4 year old is.
